Privacy Policy — Kings Biltong App

1. Who we are
The Kings Biltong app (“the App”) is operated by Ian Israel Kur, trading as “קינגס” (Kings), licensed dealer (עוסק מורשה) no. 332703149, of 1 Harav Ben Or Street, Raanana 4333956, Israel, (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information the App collects about you, in accordance with Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, including Amendment 13.

2. What we collect
We collect only what we need to take and deliver your orders:
- Account details — your name, email address and a password (stored in encrypted form).
- Delivery details — your delivery address and phone number.
- Order history — the items you order, amounts, delivery dates and payment status.
- Payment confirmation data — a transaction reference, amount and approval status returned by our payment provider. We never see or store your card number (see section 4).
- Device data for notifications — if you allow notifications, a push notification token for your device.
3. How we use your information
To create and manage your account and sign you in; to process, prepare and deliver your orders and contact you about them; to confirm payment and keep required business and tax records; to send order-related notifications if you have allowed them; and to respond to your questions and support requests. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Payments
Card and Bit payments are processed by Grow (Meshulam), a licensed Israeli payment provider. When you pay, you enter your payment details on Grow’s secure payment page — your card details never pass through or get stored on our systems. We receive only confirmation of the payment (transaction reference, amount and status). If you choose cash on delivery, no payment information is collected in the App.
5. Where your information is stored
Your information is stored securely with Supabase, our database provider, on servers located in the European Union. Push notifications are delivered via Expo and Apple’s notification services.
6. How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for 7 years, as required for business and tax records under Israeli law. Account details are kept while your account is active, and deleted or anonymised when you delete your account (see section 7). Push tokens are kept while notifications are enabled on your device.
7. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Delete account). When you do, your account details and personal identifiers are deleted, and order records we must keep for tax purposes are anonymised — they no longer identify you, but the transaction records are retained as required by law.
8. Sharing your information
We share information only with the service providers needed to run the App — Supabase (data hosting), Grow (payment processing) and Apple/Expo (app distribution and notifications) — and where the law requires us to disclose it. Each provider processes your information only to provide its service.
9. Your rights
Under Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, and ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 1. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by law.
10. Notifications
The App asks your permission before sending push notifications. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings; this does not affect your orders.
11. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children
The App is intended for users aged 18 and over, or younger users ordering with a parent or guardian’s involvement. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or by email where appropriate.
